Jazz
#5f2c2f
Richer muted brick red-orange for warmer midtones
About Jazz
On my monitor, Jazz doesn't read like classic terracotta. It looks like a muted ember, more reddish-brown than the brighter oranges nearby, but with a cleaner, more controlled warmth than either Chocolate Truffle or Arcane Red.
Jazz lands in the sweet spot where it feels warmer than pure brown without turning dense or wine-heavy. I use it for fashion editorial accents where the styling needs warmth but not the full punch of Arcane Red, and for UI moments that should feel human in checkout and product surfaces. It's great on labels, packaging sidebars, and muted chart callouts where you want depth without screaming.
Compared to Hot Chocolate, Jazz carries a slightly more red-leaning undertone and stays a touch more dry, so it holds up next to creams and warm grays better than the foam-brown. Pair it with off-whites and deeper blacks; next to cool grays it can start to look a bit flat.
