Freshly Roasted Coffee

A freshly pulled espresso crema has that same warm, roasted face to it, and this shade copies the mood without going flat. Freshly Roasted Coffee is lighter than the other browns here, with more orange up front than Chocolate Escape or Chestnut, and less dusty, grounded grit than Hairy Heath.

It reads like a midtone coffee brown that still feels awake in product work. I reach for it in coffee branding, baked-goods packaging, and Shopify-style UI where headers and panels need warmth but can't turn caramel. In dashboards and finance apps, it's a practical alternative to darker browns when you want contrast that feels human, not cocoa-dark. It also holds up in photography overlays for still-life and retail signage, staying readable over light creams.

Pair it with parchment, light tan, or warm gray and it stays inviting. Push it next to very saturated orange or cool browns and it can look a bit washed, like it's been heat-faded by sunlight.
