Rampant Rhubarb
#603231
Rhubarb-red warmth with a lighter, fruitier restraint
About Rampant Rhubarb
I keep seeing Rampant Rhubarb show up in mockups that need warmth, but not the heaviness of the wine-dark neighbors. It lands lighter than Chocolate Truffle and loses that almost-brown, tamped-down feel. Compared to Jazz, it reads more orange at first glance, with a cleaner, fresher undertone instead of an ember-muted red-brown.
This is the one you reach for when you want a dark interface accent that still feels alive. I like it for product photography backplates, indie skincare and food brands that want a richer "orange" signal without going bright, and UI states like hover pills or alert callouts on near-black surfaces. It also behaves well in fashion editorial margins where Arcane Red would feel too weighty and opinionated.
One quirk: on very warm creams it can start to look more red than orange, so I'll usually pair it with cool grays or deep charcoal to keep the orange temperament intact.
