Very Coffee
#664411
Deep coffee-brown yellow for warm, low-saturation contrast
About Very Coffee
Very Coffee looks like the moment you tip a fresh cup and the crema catches light, then it settles into a deep, roasted brown. It's darker and more muted than Antique Brass, but it doesn't go green-brown or olive like Florida's Alligator. Compared to Cafe Royale, it reads less red and more flat-brown, with a quieter warmth that feels like it was brewed, not lit.
I use it when I need brown weight without the copper edge: dark header bars, product detail cards, and packaging bands for coffee, cocoa, and heritage food brands. In UI, it lands well for buttons in dense dark modes and for editorial covers where cream and oat paper should stay the hero while the copy has a real anchor. It also sits nicely in dashboards and admin panels when you want restraint without turning to gray.
Quick note: because it's so coffee-brown and low on red glow, it can look a bit heavy next to very cool grays. Pair it with warm off-whites or sandy neutrals and it tightens right up.
