Ferntastic

Ferntastic is the green you notice after Arugula and Asparagus when you want fewer "leaf-bright" moments and more steady plant pigment. Compared with Arugula, it's less lively and more grounded, and it doesn't carry that warm, almost citrus-tinged lift. Compared with Asparagus, it's cleaner and a touch lighter, with a smoother, fresher undertone than that earthier, weighty feel.

I use it for plant-forward product pages, field-service software, and supply-chain or lab dashboards where status colors need to read clearly without shouting. It also works well for primary accents on marketing sites for sustainable brands, and for labels or chips in analytics screens where you don't want the green to feel heavy.

Pair it with cream, off-white, or light stone so it stays crisp. Against very cool grays it can look flatter than you expect, so I'd keep a warmer neutral nearby or add a touch of natural texture.
