Green Thumb
#779900
Balanced olive-green, muted and readable like BioShock
About Green Thumb
On my monitor, Green Thumb feels like fresh paint applied over dark, damp wood grain. It's not the muddy yellow-brown pull of BioShock, and it doesn't drift into the inkier, gray-green calm of Chorus of Frogs. This shade keeps its green identity, but it's tuned a bit lighter and cleaner, with a yellow-leaning undertone that reads more "grown" than "shadowed."
I use it on heritage platforms and industrial UI where the green needs to look intentional, not earthy. Think plant-floor status panels, asset tracking systems, and editorial data sidebars where you want clear sectioning on photos and paper-like textures. It also holds up for brand badges and navigation highlights in dashboards and finance apps, especially when paired with charcoal text and off-whites.
Compared to Densetsu Green, it's less murky and less publication-ink flat, so it won't feel as restrained. Keep it away from cold, stark whites on smooth surfaces, where the yellow tint can look a little too loud.
