Dr Who

Dr Who looks like a cartoonishly classic "pink" that's been carefully cooled down. It's lighter than the bruised, desaturated Bruise, and it avoids the grape-plum attitude of Grape Candy. The undertone here is calmer and more lilac-leaning mauve, so it reads tidy rather than dramatic, with a soft, controlled saturation that doesn't flatten.

I use this when I need a pink that stays readable against neutrals, especially in creator dashboards, community platforms, and beauty education pages where you want a friendly highlight without going hot. It's also my go-to for podcast thumbnails and editorial sub-nav accents when the layout needs a clear "primary" color cue but not the heavy grip of Feminism's richer mauve-rose.

Quirk: on very pale backgrounds it can drift toward a light lavender feel, so I'll usually anchor it with deeper text or a more confident rose. Pair it with cool grays rather than warm creams if you want it to stay distinctly Dr Who and not swing into warmer mauve.
