Plummy

Plush plum-purple warmth bridging berry jam and violets
About Plummy
Plummy reads like a plum skin with a little bruised softness, not the clean violet you expect from a "purple" name. It's deeper than Freefall, but it doesn't carry Berry Jam's earthy, warmed-down muddiness. Compared to Freshly Purpleized, it holds onto more pigment and feels less diluted, so it lands as moody, inkier purple rather than airy.
I use Plummy when the interface needs personality without tipping into dusty brown or late-night grape panels. It's strong for secondary actions and selection states in music apps, creator dashboards, and editorial UI where you want the purple to show up clearly against light gray. It also works well for progress accents and channel highlights in media players, where brighter purples can feel too eager. the one you reach for when you want purple presence that feels slightly cool-leaning but not clinical.
One quirk: Plummy can feel heavy over large fills, so keep it concentrated and let grays do the work around it.
