Tadorna Teal
#7ad7ad
Softer teal-green for calming highlights, distinct from jade
About Tadorna Teal
I keep noticing Tadorna Teal on translucent UI chips, like a sea-glass layer over a mint-green base. Compared to Crystal Gem, it's a touch more saturated and less frosted, so it holds presence instead of diffusing. And versus Jovial Jade, it sits more teal-forward and a bit less "leaf steady," so it reads brighter without turning into that loud highlight energy.
On screens, this is the kind of color that works harder than it looks for dashboards and finance apps where you want a friendly green that still feels crisp in motion. I use it for status badges in healthcare admin and HR portals, and for map legend accents in logistics and fleet tools when you want clarity that doesn't feel minty. It also pairs well with sustainability reporting headers because it stays teal-green rather than drifting toward the denser, jewel feel of Enchanted Emerald.
Quirk: put it next to very warm creams and it can look slightly "cleaner" than you expect, so I usually keep borders and secondary text either neutral-gray or a touch warmer to prevent a cold edge.
