Electric Lettuce
#7bd181
Lighter, mint-leaning chartreuse for fresh UI
About Electric Lettuce
On my monitor, Electric Lettuce looks like fresh, light spring growth that's been turned up a notch. It's not minty-air like Gossip, and it doesn't have the denser jewel weight of Enchanted Emerald. Compared to Fluorescence, it's a touch less "lit from within" and more straightforwardly green, with a crisp, lively undertone that reads clearly without feeling signal-heavy.
I use it when the UI needs bright success-green that still feels friendly. Think logistics and warehouse workflows where you want scan confirmations and progress states to pop, sustainability reporting cards that need attention without turning chart-green intense, and product thumbnails or category tiles for consumer goods where green has to stay legible against neutrals. It also behaves nicely for status chips and onboarding steps because it keeps that clean, quick punch.
Quirk to watch: because it's light and concentrated, it can feel a bit shouty next to very cool grays. If it starts dominating, lean on a calmer border green or a slightly warmer off-white for balance.
