Fresh Cut Grass

Balanced spring green for crisp charts and labels
About Fresh Cut Grass
I see Fresh Cut Grass as that first sip of green you get from mowing day, but with the brightness dialed down from the fluorescent vibe of Fluorescence and Electric Lettuce. Compared to those, it feels less "lit from within" and less signal-happy. It also doesn't carry the leafier, grown-in calm of Fiddle-Leaf Fig, because this one has a cleaner, more uniform lightness and a crisper edge.
I use it when I need green that reads as fresh in product and brand UI without turning into status-alert territory. Think agriculture and retail garden categories, plant-care or landscaping landing blocks, and packaging or sustainability cards where the green needs to feel current and tidy. It's the clean, fresh field green that works harder than it looks in thumbnail accents, pill backgrounds, and section headers next to neutrals.
Quick quirk: because it's light and fairly saturated, pair it with slightly deeper greens for borders or spacing so it doesn't blend into other mid greens.
