Violent Violet
#7f00ff
Low-light violet with intense electric saturation
About Violent Violet
On my monitor, Violent Violet reads like a deep purple ink that still feels crisp, not bruise-soft and not neon-certain. It's punchy but controlled, with a cooler backbone than Poisoning Purple's slight magenta lift and less airy than Purple Climax's matte freshness.
I reach for it when the highlight needs to look intentional in product timelines, creator streaming pages, and game UI state changes where you want urgency without drifting into the bluer attitude of deeper purples. Compared to Cosmic Heart, it doesn't get that heavy, authority-first weight, so it stays readable in dense interfaces. It also avoids the cleaner, more "signaling" feel of Purple Climax by staying tighter in saturation, like the purple you choose when you want hierarchy to feel sharp.
Quirk: on very dark palettes it can look more severe and slightly more blue than you expect, so sanity-check it against your secondary purple before you commit.
