Cosmic Heart
#9601f4
Deep magenta-purple anchor with electric heart warmth
About Cosmic Heart
Cosmic Heart is what happens when you push purple deep enough that it stops playing nice with blue. It's darker and more saturated than Candy Grape Fizz, where that one feels intentionally loud, this one feels intentionally *there*. There's weight to it. It won't fade into gray, and it won't drift toward the cooler side of the spectrum the way Bluerocratic or Blue Ribbon naturally do.
You'll land on it in music production interfaces, streaming app design systems, and creative tool suites where purple needs to feel serious without turning corporate. It works in gaming UIs, in brand identity palettes that need something with actual presence, in editorial layouts where you're building mood instead of just marking hierarchy. The darkness gives it authority that lighter purples don't carry, and the saturation keeps it from reading as muddy or desaturated the way deeper purples sometimes do.
Pair it with bright accents and it'll ground them. Against black it glows slightly, which is usually the exact effect you want. Just don't expect it to recede, this is a color that occupies space.
