About Handmade
This one looks like green-painted paper that's been handled a lot. Handmade sits in the same neighborhood as Chocolate Velvet and Boa, but it doesn't go as brown-heavy, and it doesn't feel as grounded and heavy as Boa. Compared to Home Brew, it's lighter and clearer, with a steadier green note instead of that settled-catalog warmth. The undertone reads a little cooler and slightly steadier, like dye that stayed more green than it did brown.
I use Handmade when the background needs to support typography without taking the spotlight, especially in brand and craft packaging, museum shop labels, and editorial systems that have to feel handmade but controlled. In UI terms, it works well behind article pages and calm health and wellness interfaces, where you want warmth without turning olive.
Small quirk: because it's mid-light, it can feel a touch flat next to stronger darks, so I usually pair it with warm creams and soft charcoal rather than stark black.
