Planet of the Apes

Darker blood-brown brick for deep emphasis blocks
About Planet of the Apes
Planet of the Apes looks like a battered cinema marquee red-brown when the lights hit it through dust. It's darker than most orange family reds, but it doesn't drift into the winey, burgundy insistence of Blood Oath, and it stays redder and cleaner than Dockside Red's brick-soaked restraint.
This shade comes off with a smoky, theater-warm undertone, more crusty ember than fresh lacquer. That makes it a solid pick for branding and packaging on craft brews, hardware kits, and vintage tech accessories where you want "serious" without going into alert red. I also like it for product badges and editorial accents that need warmth in dark layouts. It's the one you reach for when Sizzling Bacon's orange heat feels too cooked, but Dockside Red feels too controlled.
One heads-up: because it's both deep and slightly brown-leaning, it can go flat beside neutrals that are too gray. Off-whites and creamy creams keep it from looking tired.
