Sizzling Bacon

Smoky, lean brick red for high-contrast panels
About Sizzling Bacon
Sizzling Bacon reads like a skillet-red lacquer with an orange spark underneath it. It's darker than a lot of orange UI reds, but it doesn't go full cherry or tomato-leather. Compared to Ripasso, it's less uniformly red-forward and more ember-leaning, so the warmth feels "cooked," not pressed. Compared to Queen of Hearts, it keeps more orange heat and less ruby bite, so it lands as hot bacon strip color rather than dark-stain red.
I use it for dashboards and finance apps when you need urgency that still feels industrious, not alarmy. Think maintenance ticket states in field logistics, charge level warnings in fintech portals, and product tier badges in ecommerce admin screens where you want the one you reach for to feel warm and immediate. It's heavier and more orange-tilted than Blood Oath, which turns more burgundy and insistent.
Quirk: on very pale surfaces it can look a bit glossy and loud. Give it contrast with cocoa browns or charcoal, and don't spread it across big blocks unless you want that "hot now" energy everywhere.
