Witch Brew
#888738
Muted olive-brown for panel accents, softer and warmer
About Witch Brew
I think of Witch Brew as that thick, late-day green you get when wet leaves and dark soil share the same shadow. It's less mustardy than Overgrown Citadel, so it doesn't feel like moss on stone. And compared with Green Commando, it's not matte and utilitarian. This one reads deeper and slightly more muted, with a smoother, brew-like undertone that keeps it from turning olive-leaning or chartreuse.
For UI, I use it on UI panels and map overlays when I want greenery that stays calm for long sessions. It's a strong pick for dashboards in agtech and logistics, especially in filter backgrounds, sidebar bands, and the areas behind tables where you need "green" without pulling the rest of the interface toward brass or gray-brown. It's also my go-to the one you reach for when editors want a moody base under typography.
Quirk: if you pair it with very lime-forward greens, it can feel heavy fast. Keep neighboring greens either cooler or more neutral so the undertone stays intentional.
