Pesto di Rucola
#748a35
Earthy, olive-leaning green for calm sections
About Pesto di Rucola
Pesto di Rucola is the green you see on a fresh herb puree photo, not the leaf itself. It's a medium-light olive-green with a more lively, chlorophyll-leaning kick than Olive, but it won't go as muted and soil-warm as Homegrown. Compared with Hidden Paradise, it reads warmer and a bit more saturated, so it feels ready to carry labels instead of sitting back.
I use it when the UI needs that "food-grown" energy in a controlled way: logistics and agriculture tech dashboards, inventory and batch status chips, and map callouts for fields or routes. It also works well for editorial cover bars and product cards in outdoor and culinary brands where you want green to feel appetizing, not herbal-generic. Pair it with creamy off-whites and light warm grays, and it stays legible and friendly without drifting into yellow-brown.
Quirk: next to darker, cooler greens it can look slightly louder. I usually balance that with a neutral that has a touch of warmth.
