About Radioactive

Radioactive reads like a lime-green signal light that's been pushed a bit brighter and tighter, not yellow-leaning the way chartreuse can. It's got that clean, almost clinical glow, with a crisp green undertone that feels more charged than "friendly highlight." Compared to , it holds a more concentrated neon energy without drifting toward a checkout-beacon warmth. Compared to , it's less restrained, more alert in its presence.

In production UI, I use it for dashboards and operations panels when you need "newly detected" to feel immediate on a dark map or dense grid. It also works in live event timelines and logistics control UIs for status markers where would feel too aggressive and chartreuse-adjacent. This is the one you reach for when the secondary urgency has to stay green, not start flirting with yellow.

Quirk: next to deeper greens it can look sharper than intended, so I usually soften the surround with matte grays or deep forest accents.
