Mochito
#8efa00
Softer yellow-lime, balanced warmth for calm highlights
About Mochito
Mochito looks like a chartreuse-leaning lime with a cooler edge than Acid Green, but it's smoother and less "electric hum" than Loud Lime. It reads bright, still, and slightly more yellow-forward in the mix, like a highlight that's been dialed in rather than pushed to maximum. The mood is quick to notice without feeling frantic.
I land it on live UI states where you want the viewer to track change, not just register attention. Think traffic and delivery monitoring panels, step-by-step operational workflows, and the status pill beside a "moving" or "ready" timestamp. Compared with Acid Green, it's less warm-pulsing; compared with Loud Lime, it doesn't feel quite as aggressively fluorescent, so it holds up a bit better over longer sessions. The one you reach for when you need a crisp "go" that still feels controlled.
Pair it with dark charcoal or near-black to keep it sharp. Next to mid gray it can start to flatten, so give it contrast and a little whitespace.
