Lasting Lime
#88ff00
Clean, slightly cooler lime for crisp charts
About Lasting Lime
I keep thinking of Lasting Lime as a highlighter that's been dialed back just enough to stay usable all day. It still reads intensely green, but it's cleaner and less pushy than Lethal Lime, and it has less electrical bite than Loud Lime. Compared to Acid Green, it doesn't carry that yellow-forward "pulse" feel. The tone is cooler and more controlled, with a tight, neon saturation that holds its edge without turning into chartreuse heat.
I reach for it when I need dashboards and finance apps to show "active right now" without the alert color feeling noisy. It works well for live ops panels, logistics control rooms, route status layers, and event timelines where the highlight has to stay readable over dark UI and dense grids. Put it next to deeper greens, not near aggressive yellows, because that's where it starts to feel sharper than intended. If your layout already has Loud Lime doing the urgency, Lasting Lime is the steadier secondary state that stays crisp instead of competing.
