Chocolate Covered

This is the brown that still remembers it's orange. Chocolate Covered sits deeper and more muted than Chocolate Explosion, but it doesn't have that reddish insistence that Chocoholic carries. It's genuinely neutral in temperature, not cool, not hot, which means it reads differently depending on what you put it next to. It's the one I reach for when a design needs warmth without any announce.

Works in food packaging, retail environments, and editorial layouts where brown feels intentional but not heavy. Unlike Choco Chic (which leans orange on the surface), this one feels equally at home as a text color or a background. It's got enough darkness to carry weight on white, enough saturation to not disappear into beige. The trick: it's restrained but not precious, which means you can pair it with almost anything, cool grays, warm neutrals, even black, without the color feeling like it's fighting for attention.

Stack it against cream or warm backgrounds and it'll anchor without dominating. This is the color that works because it doesn't make you think about it.
