Pink Horror

Pink Horror is that pink-leaning burgundy you notice when a red button looks less like a stop sign and more like bruised candy. It sits in the mid-depth range: brighter and airier than Royal Flush and Liaison, but less candy-candy than Raspberry Romantic. The undertone is a deliberate magenta-rose haze, so it reads more playful than the medical-stable reds without turning friendly like a softer rose.

I use it for healthcare interfaces where you want urgency to feel personal, not clinical-cold. It's also strong in dashboards and finance apps for inline status pills, "action needed" prompts, and destructive confirmations that shouldn't feel heavy or ink-dark. Compared to the deeper nearby options, this one lands the one you reach for when you need "pay attention" with a lighter emotional load than Liaison, and less cool authority than Royal Flush.

Pair it with crisp neutrals or muted grays; too much warmth in the surrounding UI can make it drift toward mauve quickly on small labels.
