Sacred Scarlet
#950c1b
Deep orange-red altar tone for contrast
About Sacred Scarlet
On-screen, Sacred Scarlet reads like a loud red-orange that refuses to go brown. It's drier and brighter than Jack and Coke, with none of that cocoa tint slowing it down. And compared to Noble Red, it feels more like a saturated core with a slightly more ceremonial, grounded heat, not that disciplined warning clarity.
I reach for Sacred Scarlet when I want primary actions that land fast without tipping into the wine-dark weight of Succubus. It shows up in checkout and subscription flows for media and commerce sites, and in packaging for food and consumer goods where the red needs to feel intense but clean. Think product callouts, shipping status buttons, and retail promo banners where you want attention, not "alarm."
One note: on very warm backgrounds it can start to look flatter, so I like it with cooler off-whites or charcoal to keep the orange undertone crisp.
