Funky Frog
#98bd3c
Muted cool yellow-green for calm chart accents
About Funky Frog
I keep Funky Frog on my monitor when I want green to read like a living signal, not a background tint. It's a medium-light green with a punchier, more saturated presence than Aromatic Herbs, but it avoids Citrus's yellower snap. Compared to Fairy Tale Green, it stays firmer and more deliberate, less soft around the edges.
In production, this shade lands well on dashboards and finance apps where status and trends need to feel upbeat without turning into neon. I've used it for fleet and logistics maps, subscription management tables, and product cards that show "active" or "ready" states. The undertone matters here: it's cooler than Citrus, so the alert doesn't feel pushy, and the one you reach for when you need green to stay legible on mid-value UI surfaces.
Pair it with off-whites, light concrete, or pale wood and it holds its character. Next to very yellow signage greens it can look slightly more restrained, so plan your accent hierarchy.
