Million Grey
#999999
Cool medium gray with subtle metallic weight
About Million Grey
On my monitor, Million Grey looks like a light concrete wall that's been wiped down but never bleached. It's a medium gray with a soft, even feel, and the undertone stays slightly muted so it doesn't wander beige like Nomad. It also avoids Gateway Grey's flat neutrality, because this one has a restrained warmth that keeps it from feeling chilly.
I use it when I want the gray that sits back without turning invisible. It works well for dashboards and editorial tooling where panels, tables, and forms share the same backdrop across long sessions. Compared to Moon Landing, Million Grey reads warmer and a touch more grounded, so dense UI copy feels less clinical while still keeping contrast crisp.
One thing to watch: because it's not as cool as Moon Landing, very icy accents can look slightly smudged. I usually balance it with darker text and clean borders so the page stays organized, not soft.
