Gallant Green
#99aa66
Balanced, slightly warm, softer chart green
About Gallant Green
Gallant Green looks like a young leaf lit by late afternoon sun, but toned down enough that it never turns into that yellow-gold glow. Compared to Estragon, it's a touch deeper and more confident, with less herb-mint softness. And unlike Around the Gills, it stays distinctly green without leaning into gray hush.
I use Gallant Green for dashboards and finance apps when the UI needs a "go" or "in progress" signal that feels natural, not tactical. It also works well for classroom or logistics software where you want the one you reach for when the interface should feel steady on white surfaces. In editorial systems, it reads clearly against light panels without overpowering photos.
One quirk: if your neutrals are very cool (blue-gray walls, icy whites), it can pull slightly more muted. Pair it with warm creams or light wood so the leaf warmth comes through.
