Springtide Melodies
#9aa955
Softer chart green with springlike yellow lift
About Springtide Melodies
Sunlight on the first blade of spring grass, but filtered through light haze so it stays calm. Springtide Melodies sits in the greener side of the spectrum, lighter than Gallant Green and far less dusty than Desert Locust. It also avoids the lime-peel sharpness of Lime It or Leave It, landing as a softer yellow-green that feels airy instead of punchy.
I like using it for in-progress and positive status in interfaces where you want momentum without slipping into tactical. It's a strong fit for productivity software and health and wellness dashboards, especially on large panels with lots of white space. Compared to Gallant Green, it reads more "fresh" and less assured, and compared to the lime tones it doesn't flicker toward yellow when the UI gets busy.
Quirk: because it's light and slightly warm, it can look a little washed beside very crisp, high-contrast greens. Pair it with deeper leaf or warm neutrals so it keeps its lift.
