Vintage Copper

Muted copper-brown orange for deep, structured accents
About Vintage Copper
Vintage Copper reads like a penny left in the sun just long enough to soften the shine. Compared to Chutney, it's less burnt and less sepia-prone, with a steadier orange core. Versus Grand Canyon, it doesn't feel as clay-dry; it holds more warmth and a tighter, metal-tinged saturation. And where Hot Cacao goes roast-deep and cocoa-forward, Vintage Copper stays more coppery and midtone, not brown-heavy.
I reach for it when I need orange warmth that feels aged but still clean, especially in product pages and retail packaging where you want a premium, hardware-like tone. It also works well in food and beverage interfaces, but in a subtler way than Chutney or Bruschetta, more "spiced metal" than "dried tomato" or "flush."
Pair it with warm creams, dark umber, and walnut finishes; if you put it next to very bright coral, the copper can look slightly muted and older than you intended.
