About Pebble
Pebble looks like a river-worn stone that's picked up a hint of moss. It's light and softly desaturated, so it never feels heavy, and it reads more gray-green than the warmer, more olive-leaning drift of Mohalla or A Frond in Need.
Compared to Knock on Wood, Pebble gives up a touch of that cabinet-like steadiness and instead turns slightly more chalky, with less obvious green presence. That makes it a calmer backplate when you still want the screen to feel natural, not sterile. I like it for healthcare dashboards, clinic and therapy landing pages, and editorial modules where you need long-scroll comfort with cream copy. It also works well behind quiet data tables, sidebars, and card containers when your accents are muted rather than bold.
One quirk: because it's so lightly saturated, it can look a bit cooler next to strong warm tans. If your UI uses warmer neutrals, pair Pebble with slightly warmer text and accents so it doesn't flatten.
