Purple Zergling
#a15589
Deep mauve violet for cool, moody accents
About Purple Zergling
Purple Zergling reminds me of a plum-tinted marker stroke over a soft pink page header. It's purple-first, but it doesn't go the bruised, muted route like Grape Candy. Compared to Feminism, it's less composed mauve-rose and more vivid in the midtone, with a clearer, slightly cooler undertone.
I'd use this for creator UI and product surfaces where you need a confident highlight without drifting toward Bermuda Onion's warmer, friendlier commit. Think primary buttons and badge fills in cosmetics education pages, podcast thumbnails, or course dashboards where the shade has to read instantly at small sizes. It also works well for editorial subheads on darker theme layouts, because the purple keeps the emphasis crisp instead of turning dusty.
Quick pairing note: it behaves best next to deep violets or neutral grays, and it can look a bit too inked when you set it against very pale cool whites.
