Desirable
#a93435
Dustier orange-red for warm callouts, less wine-cool
About Desirable
Desirable is the orange-red that looks like it was pulled from a well-lit brick wall in late afternoon, not from a warning light. It's noticeably lighter than Bloodsport, so it feels intentional rather than heavy, and it stays cleaner than Brick without turning into the caramel edge of Grilled Tomato. The undertone leans red-warm, but the saturation is disciplined, so it reads controlled instead of urgent.
I use it when the interface needs attention with manners: dashboards and finance apps, trading or reporting panels, and data visualization where you want key numbers to pop without screaming. It also works well for health status labels, inventory messaging, and product reviews, especially when you're balancing orange tones against grays and cool surfaces. Against deep navy or charcoal it holds its color, but on light backgrounds it stays noticeable without going red-hot.
If your layout is already warm, keep an eye on overuse. In dense charts, too much Desirable can start to feel samey, so mix it with neutral strokes and restrained accents.
