Pepperoni
#aa4400
Deep orange-red for peppier, less-alert highlights
About Pepperoni
Pepperoni looks like a clean slice of orange-red on a warm screen, not the brickier clay of Bricky Brick and not the red-leaning snap of Crimson Blaze. It's medium-dark and fairly saturated, so it reads bold without turning into "alarm orange." The undertone stays orange-forward and slightly fiery, but it doesn't get the hotter, deeper heat you see in Donkey Kong.
For UI, I use Pepperoni when I need the one you reach for orange emphasis that stays clearly orange next to reds and doesn't brown out next to warm neutrals. It's great for alerts, health and fitness stats, and commerce moments like price highlights or active filters where you want warmth to land fast. I also like it in real estate gallery accents and editorial overlays when the background is cream or light gray and you need the highlight to stay forward.
Quick sanity check: on very beige surfaces it can look a touch louder than you expect, so pair it with crisp whites or cooler grays to keep it from drifting toward the brown side.
