Rustling Leaves

Rustling Leaves looks like the moment orange shifts from "sun on skin" to "dry leaf on stone." It's still clearly orange, but the red edge is dialed back, so it doesn't punch like Peach Dunes or tip into the more grounded, muted feel of Amaretto. Compared with Dried Tomatoes, it reads cleaner and less dusty, with a softer, papery lightness that feels less tomato-forward.

I use it when the layout needs warmth that stays calm at UI scale. It's a great pick for secondary buttons, badges, and tag highlights in retail and ecommerce, especially on product cards where you don't want that fleshy peach hit. In editorial and brand systems, it's my the one you reach for when orange should look natural next to photography without pulling attention like a fresh color. Pair it with oat, cream, and warm greige, and it holds its lane better than Peaches Dunes or dashboards and finance apps-type neutrals would suggest.

If you drop it beside very rich terracotta or strong reds, it can flatten. Give it breathing room, and it looks more intentional.
