Featherbed

Brighter, milkier periwinkle for airy panels
About Featherbed
Featherbed is what happens when you take blue and drain most of the saturation without letting it turn gray. It sits lighter than Andromeda, Breeze, or Cloudy Valley, almost perceptibly closer to white, but it's still unmistakably blue, not a washed-out whisper. The color reads soft without being pale, which is a harder line to walk than it looks.
You'll use this in product dashboards, fintech interfaces, and healthcare software where you need a background blue that feels genuinely approachable. It works in empty states, card backgrounds, secondary panels, anywhere you want the blue family present but recessed. Pair it with dark charcoal or slate text and it holds enough contrast without strain. The real difference from its neighbors: it's warm enough that it won't feel clinical, but light enough that content sits on top of it without sinking. It works harder in that narrow space than the muddier, grayer options around it.
On cooler monitors it'll read more purely blue. On warmer displays it'll lean slightly toward cream-blue, which is exactly when you'll reach for it instead of something with more gray built in.
