Hibiscus
#b6316c
Darker hibiscus magenta for focused red accents
About Hibiscus
Hibiscus reads like a clean rose-red with a little hibiscus petal glow, not a muddier wine, and not the cooler electric edge of Chaotic Roses. Compared to Cry of a Rose, it's less rose-forward and more balanced, so it doesn't tilt into mauve-bloom. It also avoids Bleeding Heart's quieter, heavier warmth.
For me, it's the one you reach for when you need a decisive red that stays friendly in dense UI. In music apps, social platforms, and creative tools, it works for primary action buttons, "saved" states, and active toggles where users should feel momentum, not escalation. Pair it with cool grays for crisp contrast, or warm neutrals when you want it to pop without turning pink.
Quick note: if your background is already rosy, Hibiscus can lose its punch and start reading closer to a softer alert tint.
