About Water Leaf

On my mockups, Water Leaf looks like a light teal wash that never quite turns into blue-gray. It's noticeably more green-leaning than , and it keeps a gentler saturation than , so it reads as a soft sheet of color rather than a "place marker." The coolness is there, but it feels watery and airy instead of crisp.

I use it when I want a primary surface that still has identity, especially in blue-sky light-mode layouts. Think dashboards in health and logistics platforms, settings panels, empty states, and subtle cards in SaaS. Compared with , Water Leaf doesn't disappear. It's still restrained, but the tint holds just enough for the UI to feel designed, not accidental.

Pair it with deeper teals or charcoal to keep structure. If you stack too many other pastels on top, it can start to blend into them and lose that soft "sheet" effect.
