Green Venom
#b8f818
Sour, high-saturation green for sharp accents
About Green Venom
I keep thinking of green circuitry insulation under a phone flashlight: Green Venom is that bright, sharp lime-leaning green that feels energized even when the rest of the UI stays calm. Compared to Chartreuse, it doesn't soften or breathe as much. Versus Lime, it's less playful and more clipped. And unlike Atomic Lime, it holds onto its heat without tipping into yellowish brightness.
For real work, I use it when status needs to read fast in dashboards and fintech alerting, especially for "active now" chips, threshold exceed banners, and logistics scan confirmations. It also shows up nicely in motion-heavy ad creatives for route highlights where you want the accent to stay readable for a few frames without turning into pure signal.
The quirk: it can feel a little aggressive next to warm beige. Stick it with cool grays or deep neutrals, and let it do short bursts, not full-page fills.
