Nuclear Blast
#bbff00
Acid-green highlight for bold, high-energy UI
About Nuclear Blast
I keep thinking of Nuclear Blast as the green that hits like a charged warning light, but doesn't smear into yellow. Compared to Atomic Lime's peak neon softness and Limoncello's citrus lift, this one feels more forceful and more sharply green, with a higher perceived intensity at the same time.
On screen it reads as a hard-edged signal for real-time alerting, industrial monitoring and warehouse exception states, especially over dark UI where you need the status to pop without drifting toward lime-yellow. I also use it for CMS publish pipelines and media live overlays when the callout has to feel urgent, not cheerful, and Liquid Neon just looks a touch too trace-like.
Caution: because it's so assertive, pair it with deep charcoal or clean white and give it some breathing room in the layout. If you park it next to Neon Yellow, the temperature split becomes obvious fast, so separate your semantic colors clearly.
