Naughty Hottie
#ba403a
Midlight orange-red heat with a cheeky edge
About Naughty Hottie
Naughty Hottie is the red-orange you get when a stoplight glow has been filtered through something darker and moodier. It reads darker and sassier than Crimson Glow, with noticeably more bite than Cherry Bomb's more deliberate, almost businesslike intent. Compared to Dragon's Blood, it stays warmer and more direct, less wine-stained, so the red edge feels closer to lipstick than berry.
I use it when I need a highlight that feels sexier than a standard alert without turning into full-on warning red. Think promos and limited drops in retail and fashion apps, subscription paywalls, and bold status badges in streaming or gaming UIs. It also works well for primary CTAs in food and hospitality where you want heat, but not urgency; it won't blur into the background the way softer reds might.
Pair it with charcoal or deep brown-gray to keep the attitude controlled. On near-white, it holds up cleanly, but if your palette already has Dragon's Blood, give Naughty Hottie the lead so the two don't fight for attention.
