Sleepless Blue
#badbed
Deeper, slate-leaning blue for focused, calmer panels
About Sleepless Blue
I keep noticing Sleepless Blue shows up like a cool night sky on a well-lit monitor. It's not as close to white as Ariel, and it doesn't get as warm and pushy as Distant Homeworld. This one holds a steadier blue note while staying fairly pale, so it reads intentional without looking like it's trying to be the hero.
In real UI, it's my go-to for product interfaces and onboarding screens where you want calm structure, not a washed-out backdrop. It also works well in dashboards and healthcare portals as a secondary panel color that won't fight charts or forms. Compared to Endless Horizon, Sleepless Blue feels a touch more saturated and distinctly blue-leaning, so it shows up even when the rest of the interface is minimal.
Pair it with slate, deep navy, or cool gray text to keep it from drifting toward a flatter, grayish look. If your design leans too warm elsewhere, the contrast can feel like it's slipping.
