Polar Opposite
#c2d6ec
Cooler, softer polar blue for airy panels
About Polar Opposite
Put Polar Opposite right next to those airy, pale blues and it stops you in your tracks. It's still light, but it reads cooler and more distinctly saturated than Snowy Summit, less of a gentle wash than Oh Boy!, and more deliberately blue-forward than Broad Daylight.
In UI terms, it behaves like a "statement tint" rather than a backdrop. I use it for dashboards and finance apps where section dividers, info cards, and subtle callouts need to feel chosen, not accidental. It also shows up well in healthcare scheduling and education portals when you want headers and tag chips to pop a touch without turning into a saturated accent. Versus the neighbors, it keeps its identity even when the interface gets busy.
Pair it with a deeper slate stroke or typography so it doesn't compete with white space; otherwise it can feel a little too present for long reading screens.
