Skinny Dippin’
#c3d7e0
Balanced light slate blue-gray for cooler UI surfaces
About Skinny Dippin’
Skinny Dippin' looks like gray sunscreen drying on a railing: pale, cool, and slightly more decided than the almost-white options. Compared to Breath of Fresh Air, it has a firmer gray undertone, so it doesn't just hover near white. And versus Getting Wet, it stays lighter and cleaner, with less of that grounded, saturated "water" feel.
I use it for secondary surfaces when I want separation that's visible but not weighty. Think form fields and card backgrounds in healthcare apps and dashboards for finance where you need a calm backdrop that still defines edges. It's also a solid choice for editorial layouts and SaaS panel dividers, especially when you don't want the surface to compete with content.
Quick note: because it's light, it can read a bit washed next to warm accents. Pair it with deep gray type or crisp white spacing so the UI structure lands cleanly.
