Frozen Periwinkle

Soft blue-leaning periwinkle for cool, airy UI
About Frozen Periwinkle
On my monitor, Frozen Periwinkle looks like a sheet of frosted glass that's been lightly dusted with purple. It's not as airy as Icy Plains, and it doesn't play as friendly as Fly a Kite. This one has a clearer periwinkle note, with a gentle cool tilt that reads more fresh than distant.
Use it when you want a purple-family base that still feels crisp and designed. I reach for it in healthcare and wellness interfaces where you need light panels that won't look generic, especially in settings screens, modal backplates, and empty states that should feel clean but not blank. It also works for skincare and light consumer packaging photography, where you need backgrounds that stay soft under studio lighting and don't fight product tones.
Compared to Blue Lips, Frozen Periwinkle carries a touch more depth and pigment, so it holds its own as a mid-light surface instead of vanishing. Pair it with cool grays and soft white typography blocks; warmer creams will make it feel noticeably more purple and less glassy.
