Punk Rock Purple

Deep punk purple-magenta for moody contrast bands
About Punk Rock Purple
On my monitor, Punk Rock Purple lands like a magenta-leaning purple with sharper edges than the softer pink-ish purples nearby. It's Pink family at first glance, but it holds onto a true purple attitude, not the fuchsia drift. Compared to Amora Purple, it's purer and more saturated, so it feels less restrained and more "ready to act" instead of thoughtful. And next to Jealous Jellyfish, it's less neon-hot and less wet-ink glossy, with a steadier midtone lift.
I reach for it in video and music editing interfaces when a selected clip, emphasis chip, or timeline marker needs to read purple without turning into fuchsia. It also works well in creator chat for focus rings and moderation highlights where you want attitude, but not the cooler blueshift feel that can show up in other purples. Pair it with charcoal panels and deep teals so it stays punchy, not muddy.
Quirk: on very light backgrounds it can feel flat, like the purple loses its bite, so give it some contrast or let it live on darker UI surfaces.
