Dry olive gold for grounded, earthy UI accents

About Nettle

Nettle reads like a dried herb tint with a soft, dusty edge. Compared with , it's lighter and less brown-forward, so it doesn't feel "settled" or heavy. And unlike 's cooler, grayer pull, Nettle stays more yellow-green and warmer, like it's been sun-bleached a little.

On screen it's the quiet middle green-tan I'd use when you want color presence without grabbing the headline. I've dropped it into health and wellness landing pages, learning platforms, and admin UIs for filter bars, form sections, and secondary card backgrounds where the content needs air. It also works nicely for print-like UI surfaces in editorial CMS previews and archive views, especially with dark type and restrained accents.

One quirk: because it's muted and light, it can wash out next to very bright creams. Pair it with slightly deeper strokes or a touch more contrast so it stays deliberate, not pale.
