Croissant

Light buttery neutral-green for airy panels and icons
About Croissant
Croissant sits noticeably lighter than Baker's Dozen or Another One Bites the Dust, it's the shade that actually disappears into the background instead of anchoring it. Where those two read as deliberate neutral choices, this one has the restraint of something you almost don't notice until you realize how hard it's working. The brown is there, but it's muted enough that the lightness becomes the point.
This lands naturally on editorial sites, long-form reports, and content platforms where the background needs to get out of the way. It's less insistent than Beach Dune without losing all its warmth, which means it plays well with both cool grays and earth tones without tipping the room one direction or another. Pair it with dark type and imagery and it becomes invisible. The color doesn't pretend to be something it's not, it's just quietly light and warm enough to feel intentional.
Against pure white or strong accent colors, test it first. The warmth is there, but subtle enough that context matters. It's the one you reach for when you need neutrality without coldness, and you're tired of reaching for the same three grays.
