Pastel Lilac

Soft, neutral lilac for calm content areas
About Pastel Lilac
Pastel Lilac looks like someone softened a violet into airbrush form. It's not the crisp, upward lilac feel of Moonraker, and it doesn't go chalky or haze-prone like Fog Syringa. Compared to New Love, it's less softly creamy and more clearly pastel, with a gentle, cool-leaning undertone that stays tidy instead of drifting toward mauve-leaning neutrals.
I use it when the UI needs purple presence that reads light first, not controlled violet first. Think patient-friendly headers in healthcare dashboards, wellness and skincare settings screens, and product onboarding where you want steps, section dividers, and empty-state panels to feel calm without turning dusty. It also sits well behind lifestyle photos on e-commerce pages when you need labels to stay readable but not feel "pressed."
Pair it with crisp white or very pale periwinkle grays; beige accents can muddy the pastel clarity fast. Keep an eye on saturation in dark mode too, since it can lose its character if the background gets too cool.
