Fog Syringa

Cool gray-lilac haze for subdued, airy UI
About Fog Syringa
Fog Syringa is that lilac you notice only when the room light cools down, when the purple turns silky and a little washed, not chalky gray. It's less "pressed mauve" than Girl Crush, and it doesn't read as powder-settled as Dust of the Moon. Compared with Digital Lavender, it's quieter and dustier in feel, with a more muted edge that softens contrast.
I use it for product and brand UI that needs subtle purple presence without sliding into smoke or blush. Think wellness, telehealth, and skincare flows where headers, step indicators, and calm panels need lightness with restraint. On photo-led pages, it supports labels over skin tones and fabric without looking fragile, and it works well in mid-screen states like address forms, cart confirmations, and empty galleries.
Pair it with cool whites or clean charcoal; warmer creams can pull it toward mauve-beige fast. If your design system already has Digital Lavender, Fog Syringa is the shade for when you want less punch and more haze control, the one you reach for when clarity matters but brightness doesn't.
