About Last of the Lilacs
Last of the Lilacs reads like the moment lilac petals dry out: a pale, dusty pink with noticeably less punch than the more candy-leaning options. Compared to Blushing Sky, it holds on to a cooler, more lavender-leaning undertone, so it doesn't warm up as easily. And unlike Blackberry Yoghurt, it's lighter and airier, closer to a mist than a softly muted stain.
I reach for it when I want softness without turning anonymous, especially in onboarding screens for wellness and personal care where the UI should feel calm but still "set" enough to be trusted. It also works well for loyalty and subscription surfaces, like account settings and confirmation panels, where the brand voice wants gentle momentum, not celebration. On mobile cards, it stays legible against creams better than darker lilac-leaning pinks.
Pair it with near-whites and soft greys for the clean look, and watch it against very warm backgrounds, where it can start to look a touch more blue than you expect.
